Kunstpavillon, Innsbruck 2009
Performance, Installation
PerformIC, Innsbruck Contemporary, 26.-28.6.2009
The Innsbruck Hofgarten forms the basis for a performative installation developed by kozek hörlonski for the Kunstpavillon. The park, which is protected as a historical monument, has transformed over the centuries from a wetlands into a renaissance and baroque garden, and finally into its present form as an English garden. In their “staging,“ the artists pick up on such stylistic features of the park as well as the nightime activities and processes in the systematic and goal-oriented nocturnal search for sex.
